Wherever we travel, we believe that we have an obligation to show our appreciation for all that we have seen and learned by being inquisitive, interested, respectful, and grateful. We want to travel with an inquisitive mind so that we can learn as much as possible from everything we see and everyone we encounter; an open heart that so that we approach the environment, the culture, and the people nonjudgmentally; and with respect for all that people do for us along the way to make our trip interesting, meaningful, and joyful.

Everyone at Beyond Adventures is committed to social and ecological responsible tourism. We know today that many travel companies and guides practice this same philosophy, and we’re glad to be in such good company. More then just seeing the "Big Five" we offer our travelling guests a way to (hopefully) make a personal connection while visiting Tanzania, something we feel strongly about.

The Foundation for African Medicine & Education

FAME, an organization founded by Dr. Frank Artress and Susan Gustafson from the United States, provides quality medical care to the local people living in Tanzania. FAME is dedicated to improving the quality and accessibility of medical care in rural Tanzania and making a difference in the day-to-day lives of the Tanzanian people. FAME also strives to provide adequate tools, resources and professional support to enable Tanzanian healthcare workers to best serve their community.
